This article relates to the New Zealand Silver Fern of silver bullion rounds released by the New Zealand Mint who are located in New Zealand.
The New Zealand Silver Fern features a map of New Zealand and the four stars of the Southern Cross. Above this appears the traditional Maori word for New Zealand ‘Aotearoa’ meaning ‘land of the long white cloud’. The reverse features a finely engraved Silver Fern surrounded by a traditional Maori border design.
This is a bullion round, it has no face value.
There is only a single 1oz round available at present.
