Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf Series
This article relates to the Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf Series of platinum bullion coins released by the Royal Canadian Mint in Canada.
The series is part of the overall Canadian Maple Leaf Series of bullion coins.
The Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf Series features the Canadian Maple Leaf on one face. The obverse features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sovereign of the Commonwealth.
This is legal tender of the country of Canada.
Coin sizes available are 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, 1/15oz and 1/20oz, depending on year.
The series commenced in 1988 and took a break before returning in 2009.
2002 saw a limited edition hologram range released, however these have been excluded from Bullion Data at the current time as we do not consider them to be standard bullion coins.
