The Australian Nugget / Kangaroo Gold Series features either a gold nugget or kangaroo design on the reverse, depending on the year. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II.
This is legal tender of the country of Australia. Sizes ran from 1/20oz to 1kg, depending on year. Some face values changed throughout the series, however ranged from $5 all the way up to $10,000.
The series of gold bullion coins began in 1987 and is still running.
