The Australian Emu Palladium Series features the Australian Emu in varying designs on one face. The obverse features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sovereign of the Commonwealth.
This is legal tender of the country of Australia. These coins all had a face value of $40.
The series only ran for 3 years, each year featuring a single 1oz palladium coin. There were multiple other proof (non-bullion) palladium coins also released of the Emu from 1995 through to 1998.
